The Role:

We’re looking for an HR Coordinator in Malta to join our People team at Raketech. This is a support-focused role, ideal for someone highly organised, proactive, and takes pride in doing things efficiently and accurately.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the HR Generalist and provide administrative and operational support across a broad range of HR functions, including onboarding, employee data management, payroll coordination, and more. You’ll also collaborate with other members of the People team, including HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Culture & Inclusion.

This position is perfect for someone who wants to grow in the HR field by getting hands-on experience in the day-to-day workings of a People team.

As an HR Coordinator, you are expected to:

  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth experience for employees, contractors, and consultants, and keeping documentation up to date.

  • Help maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, ensuring data is correct and complete.

  • Assist with payroll administration, benefits tracking, and general employee documentation.

  • Provide general administrative support to the People team as needed. This could include scheduling meetings, preparing reports, or helping with internal communications.

  • Be a friendly and professional point of contact for employee queries, escalating issues where necessary.

  • Assist with HR processes and, with an eye for improving efficiency where possible.

Success in this role means:

  • Supporting the People Team efficiently by managing administrative tasks, scheduling, documentation, and internal communication with accuracy and timeliness.

  • Showing proactive engagement and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced iGaming environment.

  • Consistently delivering high-quality work, asking thoughtful questions, and seeking feedback to improve performance.

Job requirements

  • Experience in an HR support or administrative role is an advantage, but not essential.

  • A genuine interest in HR operations and a willingness to learn.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • A proactive and service-minded approach, and a sense of responsibility and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.  

  • Comfortable using (or learning to use) HR systems, tools, and spreadsheets.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
