Strategic Projects Director

The role is restricted to those physically located in Malta.

As a Strategic Project Director at Raketech, you will be responsible for the successful implementation and conclusion of core projects across the organization, by providing leadership, strategically managing risk, monitoring finances and making sure that each phase of the project starts and ends on schedule. You will be an extension of our Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CEO.

As Strategic Project Director you are expected to:

• Support Department Leadership in strategic planning.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic portfolio management framework aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
• Support the implementation of long-term goals and strategic objectives.
• Identify, analyze and monitor issues that affect growth, cost and productivity.
• Completing special projects and initiatives with skillful oversight and support.

Success in this role means:

• Identifying areas of improvement across the organization and making actionable recommendations and changes.
• Being a decision-maker about operational details, by combining a comprehensive vision with a detail-oriented approach.

• At least 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated experience and skills in project implementation and management.
• Being able to identify and implement relevant business metrics and monitor them.
• Fluency in English, either written or spoken.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to ensure information and direction are clearly conveyed.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks, schedule meetings and be able to drive organizational change by championing strategic initiatives and advocating for their adoption across the organization.
• Problem-solving skills in general.
